Sarah's Cake Shop on Central

We stopped here to get some breakfast & to take a break from driving in the rain, it was FANTASTIC. The food was great & the service was even better! We will definitely be coming back!

Pastry shop / small restaurant (sandwiches, wraps, burgers). It's really cute and inviting, the service was friendly, and the pastries look amazing.

I don't like hearing managers belittle their employees, and if your going to be a manager and in the "front of the house" I feel like you should always acknowledge your customers. Especially if they are the only one in there. macaroons were good and the cake was good and the girl who checked me out was absolutely a sweetheart.

The food is a little more money than you'll pay at McDonald's, but it's also a million times better. The cinnamon rolls could feed a small army and I wanted to lick my plate clean after devouring the smothered Sammy. 11/10. Would play again.

First time here! Staff was very helpful! Had the grilled cheese with multi grain bread and everything was very tasty!

Wonderful. We will definitely be back even though we live in Illinois & it takes us about 45 minutes to get there. We had Big Sammy, Smothered Big Sammy, a cinnamon roll & coffee. It was all delicious. The coffee was so good, not too strong & not toi weak. The cinnamon roll was to die for. If you go, you must try it. Keep up the good work & we will be back soon.

The best Steele Oatmeal. Yum. The serving size was just too small for the price I paid.

Nice atmosphere, went for lunch. the Turkey Panini was short on flavor. The salad they said was romaine was iceberg. I may revisit. I guess my expectations were raised by the decor.

The food is wonderful & consistent. We have been several times. We went on a Sunday and discovered that they now wait on you on the weekends. Use to be (and I guess it's still this way during the week) that you waited in line, gave your order & then they brought you the food. It was very quick & great service. Not sure why they made this change, but when we went today, the wait for the food was exceedingly long. In fact, they lost our order (I guess) and the table next to us, who came in after we ordered, got their food & were gone long before we finished. We ordered off the menu, nothing elaborate, so the only excuse I can imagine is that they forgot us. I know this happens, but the wait for our order was long (45 minutes). We will return, but I can't imagine why they would have made this change when the way it worked before was so efficient & customer oriented.

Great place for brunch or an offsite work meeting. Very cute atmosphere and homey décor. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I think they are extremely over priced...$3 for one piece of toast, $4 for a muffin, and $5 for one small piece of cake. YIKES!

Good food, served hot. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The place was busy, but not noisy. It's a good place for a relaxing breakfast after church on a Sunday morning. I'll definitely be returning for more.

We like Sarah's. My 9 year old son always prefers Sarah's over any other local options. He loves that we can play games while we wait for our food and while we eat.

This is one of my favorite places to drop by for various treats. The Glitter Bites are amazing. Anything they serve for breakfast will blow your socks off. Great staff. Great food.

Was at Six Flags and needed a coffee fix. You can drive here in about five minutes and get a really good Americano! Good taste and nice atmosphere. Will come again.

This is the best kept secret not just in Eureka but all of St. Louis.They have the best gooey butter in all of St.Louis along with a lot of great and unique bakery items. You have to try the central muffin and crooey. The Muffin is literally an entire breakfast (egg, potato’s etc) rolled up into a muffin Also their food is outstanding and a great menu. Their burgers are also one of the best as well.The one complaint is that it’s too hard to pick just one thing.On your next trip to six flags, Santa’s kingdom or just an excursion. Amazing ooey gooey butter cake they had some awesome macaroons. We didn't eat a meal there but saw many options and they all looked so good!

Yummy! Great atmosphere. They could use better, more descriptive menus, but I enjoyed the Gourmet Grilled Cheese. The macaroons were delicious.

Everything was absolutely perfect! All food is fresh, including vegetables! Desserts look fantastic but i have no room to finish one, so I’m taking it home! We only paid $28 for two and a dessert. Friendly staff and gorgeous decor! We’re definitely coming back. (Also they take Apple pay which is a plus)

There are so many delicious sweets and savory items for breakfast. My wife and I ordered their biscuit breakfast sandwiches which had such a buttery, flaky biscuit to go along with the egg, sausage, and cheese. Cookies and pastries are very tasty too.

We were charged $22.18 for the central breakfast, or side order of toast, a side order of bacon, and a tiny glass of juice! The toast came out so burnt that when we both took a bite at the same time we yelped!!! They redid the toast three times and it was still burnt. Never ever again!

Brought my family in after a day at Six Flags to try something new...wow they did not disappoint. The salads were very fresh and everyone loved whatever they ordered (pasta, burger, salads). Definitely would recommend the Pretzel Bites and cheese...I’d come just for those. Last but not least, the desserts...you’d do yourself a great disservice if you DIDN’T eat something. Top notch. My wife and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know. A

Amazing spot for a special occasion dinner. The wait staff were all welcoming and accommodating. Each dish had it's own character and blended multiple flavors that were expertly balanced. Highly recommended for any foodies out there!

YUM!! This was recommended by the local nursing community my mother is at and did not disappoint! The first time we went for lunch, the sandwiches are delicious!! Everything was so fresh!! We have since been back for breakfast and wow!! The cupcakes are a must try!!! This will be a regular stop from now on.

We have been going to Sarah's for some time now. I always get the cinnamon roll - usually to die for. This past Saturday was my birthday and I wanted Sarah's cinnamon roll. They open at 7:30 and we arrived about 7:50 so I am not sure if someone was late or something didn't get done (namely cinnamon rolls), but both our cinnamon rolls were like rocks. I know a stale cinnamon roll when I taste one and these had to have been from the day before. I mentioned to the young man and told him to try and cut it and he was taken aback because it was so hard. He asked the Manager/Owner and was told they were made fresh that morning. No way possible. I would have been fine if they would have said they had a problem and would we like something else, but the answer was they were freshly made. I don't think we will be going back. It is a shame because we have had a great experience in the past. Put a damper on my birthday cinnamon roll anticipation.

Large portion of chicken salad..not much flavor. Dessert was amazing. Staff could be friendlier. The girl with the red hair is the one to follow! Nice and helpful.

Stumbled on this place when I was in town for something else... had no idea it's a relative of Sarah's Cupcakes on Clarkson Road in Chesterfield, which I already love. I resisted adding dessert this time but I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad wrap and it was delicious!!! It wasn't drowning in the (yummy!) dressing which my preference anyway and the added croutons were perfect. The storefront itself is spacious and adorable.

Very nice staff. Bakery treats were tasty. However, my latte wasn't full .There was an inch of space between the liquid and the top of the cup .

The food was delicious! Never saw so many beautiful desserts. A little pricey. I asked for a piece of toast and should have asked how much it was. One slice of plain toast was $3.00! Otherwise a positive experience and i will be back.

We have used the other Sarah's Cake Shop up on Clarkson for many years. They make great cakes, cupcakes and snacks. They also serve food, coffee, and drinks at this location. Great stuff!

Waited over half hour for our food service was poor wait staff laughed at us for asking what took so long and ran off without a word.. Burger was subpar just a flavorless frozen patty not seasoned well. No taste. The chips were much better than the 11.00 dollar burger. Dont waste your money! Dont go there.

Ordered a cake from here not to long ago for my baby brothers bday. The lady was super friendly in taking our order, and we placed this order about 2 weeks ahead of time. Come to the day we're coming in to pick up the cake....it's not made. The order wasn't even placed apparently. They had to scrape something together for us, way too much icing, but the cake itself was okay. No hate, absolutely love Sarah's and their food. The macaroon's are the absolute best, but the experience itself wasn't the best.

Great place, friendly, attentive staff. Loved the Taco Thursday. Recommend the Shrimp 🌮 Tacos! Yum. The Brownie Sundae is the bomb.

Interesting restaurant. It is on the expensive, decent food. I had a great experience with the food and prices the environments are amazing.

My daughter mentioned this place so i said i would try it very nice food amazi ng if you order a salad to go they prepare a very nice travel for my salad i was able to enjoy the salad later at work they think of everything.

We love Sarah's and drop in often. They usually have gluten-free bread and treats for those who are gluten-conscious. Salads, sandwiches, soups, and lots of yummy treats so leave room for dessert. Great atmosphere without being stuffy and warm, welcoming staff.

Damn. Good. Macarons.Also, the food here was delicious and priced right! Such a cute place to stop for breakfast during a 15 hour drive from DFW, TX to Indy.My husband and I contemplated moving here because of Sarah's. Ultimately, we decided neither of us could ever be a "show-me".

Besides the pastries...everything on their menu is terrific.

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. I absolutely loved the salad bar, prior to our meal.
